🧭 Role Overview

The Senior Consultant – Tech & Implementation – L1 is a strategic consulting role within Wipro’s Global Consulting Group. This individual will be responsible for delivering high-quality, discrete transformation engagements while playing a leadership role in project execution, client interaction, thought leadership, and internal practice development.

You’ll work with multidisciplinary teams to translate business goals into technology solutions and ensure flawless project execution with measurable client outcomes.


🧩 Key Responsibilities

1. Consulting Execution

  • Act as a brand ambassador for Wipro’s core values and consulting standards.

  • Lead project delivery and manage consulting engagements independently or as a consulting project manager.

  • Engage stakeholders to define solutions, deliverables, and timelines for high-impact digital transformation projects.

  • Mentor, coach, and guide junior consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Prepare, track, and maintain project documentation, including Statements of Work (SoW), project milestones, tagging, and reports.

  • Leverage cross-functional expertise to deliver scalable and sustainable consulting solutions.

2. Client Engagement and Relationship Building

  • Build trusted relationships with client teams and stakeholders to drive long-term business value.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs and align Wipro’s services to solve their most pressing challenges.

  • Proactively participate in client discussions, presentations, and decision-making forums.

  • Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to improve client performance.

3. Business Development

  • Achieve high individual utilization targets and consistently secure project extensions.

  • Identify new consulting opportunities and contribute to lead generation and proposal development.

  • Collaborate with sales teams in pre-sales activities, RFP/RFI responses, and pitch presentations.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform consulting strategies.

4. Thought Leadership

  • Contribute to knowledge sharing through blogs, whitepapers, frameworks, and internal newsletters.

  • Analyze industry and technology trends and integrate insights into project delivery and solution design.

  • Document case studies and success stories to enhance the practice’s visibility and reputation.

  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in digital consulting.

5. Internal Practice Development

  • Engage in community development initiatives across Wipro’s consulting network.

  • Suggest innovations and tools to improve delivery quality and process efficiency.

  • Contribute reusable assets to Wipro’s knowledge management systems.

  • Participate in internal training, capability development, and mentoring programs.

  • Drive collaboration across practices and with delivery teams to ensure integrated solutions.

  • Continuously invest in personal growth through structured training in new technologies, business domains, and methodologies.

    • Minimum 32 hours of training annually in business, technology, or consulting frameworks

🔹 Community and Collaboration

  • Actively contribute to Wipro’s consulting community through cross-practice collaboration and knowledge sharing.

  • Build reusable IP and methodologies for the consulting practice.

    • Number of assets contributed to Consulting Central

    • Cross-practice collaboration initiatives supported
