🎯 Position Summary
As a Mulesoft Application Architect, you will play a strategic role in architecting and deploying API integrations using the Mulesoft platform. The ideal candidate is expected to have deep technical proficiency in Mulesoft API development, robust knowledge of integration architecture patterns, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-paced digital transformation environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement robust, scalable, and secure Mule soft APIs.
Define and execute API-led connectivity strategies aligned with business use cases.
Lead the design of integration patterns, ensuring efficiency, maintainability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
Develop reusable frameworks and templates using DataWeave, API policies, and best practices.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring versioning and automated deployment of APIs.
Collaborate with backend teams (Java, Python, Node.js, Go) and frontend developers (React, JavaScript) to ensure seamless end-to-end integration.
Provide technical leadership and code review for junior developers and integration engineers.
Optimize performance and scalability using Kafka, message queues, and asynchronous messaging architectures.
Ensure high availability and security of APIs using encryption standards, OAuth, and other industry best practices.
Design and document high-level system architecture and integration flows.
🧠 Technical Skills & Expertise Required
🔧 Core Competencies:
8–10 years of overall IT experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution.
6+ years of hands-on experience in Mulesoft API development, deployment, and management.
Strong understanding of API lifecycle, microservices architecture, integration design patterns, and RESTful web services.
Deep expertise in Data Weave, Pluck, Map, Aggregation functions, and error handling techniques.
Familiarity with Salesforce connectors, Graph QL, and other third-party systems.
💻 Programming & Tools:
Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, Go).
Working knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, React JS) is an advantage.
Strong command over CI/CD tools, version control, and deployment automation.

Experience in event-driven architecture, Kafka messaging, and serialization/deserialization mechanisms.
