🎯 Role Purpose

The business analyst—L4—serves as a critical bridge between client stakeholders and Wipro’s internal delivery teams. The primary objective of this role is to comprehend customer requirements, translate them into actionable insights, and guide the solution design process in a collaborative manner. This ensures that the end product aligns seamlessly with business expectations, maximizes ROI, and delivers real value.

💼 Key Responsibilities

1. Client Requirements Gathering & Engagement

Liaise with client engagement managers to extract detailed requirements from RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFIs (Request for Information).

Create and document scope, business objectives, functional and non-functional requirements, features, and system specifications.

Develop workflow charts, data flow diagrams, and system behavior models to provide a visual representation of the customer’s needs.

Interact with project managers, architects, pre-sales, and technical teams to align the proposed solution with customer expectations.

Deliver demos and solution walkthroughs to help customers visualize outcomes, receive feedback, and drive buy-in.

Maintain strong, long-term client relationships to enhance delivery success and identify future business opportunities.

Regularly schedule meetings to gather feedback, ensure alignment, and respond to evolving needs.

2. Internal Collaboration for Solutioning

Conduct periodic sync-ups with internal delivery teams to communicate updated customer requirements and proposed changes.

Participate in root cause analysis, review of test cases, and validation of prototypes before showcasing to clients.

Support the Quality Assurance (QA) team by offering context-specific feedback and aligning the solution with business logic.

Perform integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution functions as intended before final delivery.

Stitch together all functional modules and solution components into a cohesive response package for the client.

3. Project Coordination & Delivery Enablement

Assist project managers with defining milestones, deliverables, risk logs, and implementation schedules.

Monitor and challenge delivery assumptions to ensure timelines, resource planning, and SLAs are met.

Proactively address scope changes and customer escalations by working across functions and driving consensus.

Ensure timely delivery of quality outputs that meet or exceed client expectations.

Enable smooth change management through proper documentation and internal coordination.

4. Knowledge Management & Thought Leadership

Engage with fellow business analysts to share insights, best practices, and case studies.

Author white papers, research articles, and Points of View (PoVs) that contribute to Wipro’s consulting repository.

Participate in industry forums, internal webinars, and community initiatives to increase visibility and learning.

Create reusable assets and solution templates that can be leveraged for future proposal responses and solutioning.

Track emerging market trends and suggest innovations to enhance existing service offerings.

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Expertise

Proficiency in business process modeling, workflow diagrams, and data analysis techniques.

Strong working knowledge of project lifecycle management—Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies.

Exposure to enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or custom ERP systems.

Familiarity with solutioning, test case design, and financial impact analysis of proposed changes.

Hands-on experience with business intelligence tools and requirement-gathering platforms.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional global teams and clients.

Ability to distill complex requirements into actionable documentation.

Skilled in facilitating customer meetings, feedback sessions, and product demonstrations.

Analytical Mindset

Critical thinking and analytical abilities to deconstruct customer challenges and offer innovative solutions.

Understanding of commercial models, solution pricing structures, and service-level agreements.

🎓 Educational Qualifications

Candidates with the following academic backgrounds are preferred:

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.

Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
