Overview: Cognizant Technology Solutions, a globally recognized leader in professional services, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Enablon EHS Sustainability Consultant to join its high-performing team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about enhancing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Management Information Systems and delivering client-focused digital solutions. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, configuration, and support for Enablon platforms to drive operational excellence in EHS processes.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Enablon EHS Consultant, your role will encompass a blend of technical configuration, client communication, system enhancements, and knowledge sharing. Responsibilities include:

  1. System Configuration & Enhancement:
    • Configure and tailor Enablon Shared Functions such as Organizational Axes (e.g., First Axis), User Management, Company Directory, and overall Platform Settings to align with client-specific requirements.
    • Configure and manage shared resources like Locations and global settings to align with client requirements.
    • Design and implement enhancements by creating new pages, fields, and sections.
    • Develop workflows, set up page properties, and apply rule-based logic to improve system functionality.
    • Use Report Factory, Form Factory, Rule Factory, and Approval Process Factory to design and automate reporting and data collection processes.
  2. Module Expertise:
    • Provide hands-on experience with major Enablon modules including:
      • Incident Management
      • Audit & Inspections Management
      • Metrics and KPIs
      • Action Plans
      • Regulatory Compliance Management
      • Risk Management
      • Air Quality
      • Industrial Hygiene and Safety
  3. Technical Documentation:
    • Prepare comprehensive technical specifications for configuration changes.
    • Maintain detailed documentation to support quality assurance and system continuity.
  4. Client Engagement & Communication:
    • Collaborate closely with clients to understand business needs and configure the Enablon product suite accordingly.
    • Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate users on optimized platform usage.
    • Provide timely updates and ensure alignment between project milestones and client expectations.
  5. Quality Assurance & Testing:
    • Perform rigorous testing of configured features to ensure they meet client standards.
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and platform enhancement.
  6. Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Lead and guide junior team members by fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
    • Encourage high team morale, productivity, and adherence to timelines.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Enablon EHS software implementation and support.
  • Strong expertise in Enablon configurations including rule setup, page creation, and module-specific enhancements.
  • Proven ability to interpret business objectives and implement them effectively within the Enablon product suite.
  • Experience working with Report Factory, Rule Factory, and other Enablon component tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and database systems.
  • Proficiency in writing technical documents and specifications.
  • Exposure to Enablon NABSIC and expression functions is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

  • Experience configuring NABSIC expressions.
  • Data migration, data cleansing, and data mapping expertise.
  • Understanding of environmental and regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
