💼 About the Role: Business Processes Associate Consultant

SAP is currently looking for Business Processes Associate Consultants to join its Consulting and Professional Services division in Bangalore and Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about analytics, data warehousing, and SAP’s rapidly evolving cloud ecosystem. This role is perfect for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), S/4HANA Analytics, SAP Datasphere, and related data and planning solutions.

As part of this role, you’ll be instrumental in delivering innovative data modeling, reporting, and planning solutions that help SAP’s global clients derive actionable insights and maximize the value of their SAP investments.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

The Business Processes Associate Consultant will contribute across the end-to-end project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to solution deployment—while leveraging the latest SAP analytics technologies.

🔧 Primary Duties Include:

✅ 1. Blueprint Creation & Prototyping

• Translate customer functional requirements into comprehensive business blueprints.

• Create working prototypes and mock-ups to validate design direction.

• Ensure alignment with industry best practices and SAP frameworks.

✅ 2. Technical Solution Architecture

• Prepare solution architecture documents with clear technical design specifications.

• Recommend and implement the most efficient architecture based on deployment mode—cloud, on-premise, or hybrid.

✅ 3. Solution Implementation

• Deliver customized data and planning solutions using:

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – reporting and planning

  • SAP Datasphere / Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC)

  • SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA 2.0, or HANA Cloud

  • S/4HANA Analytics and CDS views

• Use predictive analytics, SAC smart features, and SAC application designer to enhance reporting intelligence.

✅ 4. Engagement Delivery

• Manage or support engagements with cross-functional teams of 10+ members.

• Work either independently or as part of large delivery teams.

• Collaborate directly with onsite client teams or key business stakeholders.

✅ 5. Enablement & Innovation

• Upskill internal teams and customers on SAP Business AI capabilities.

• Promote adoption of SAP AI-based features across customer analytics scenarios.

• Drive continuous improvement and automation in solution design and delivery.

✅ 6. Presales & Solution Positioning

• Support presales initiatives by presenting SAP analytics solutions to prospective clients.

• Explain technical benefits and ROI using business use cases during client interactions.

🧠 Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must bring a blend of technical expertise, consulting acumen, and business understanding.

✅ Experience:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with at least one of the following:

  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – dashboarding, reporting, and planning

  • S/4HANA Analytics

  • SAP Datasphere (DWC)

• Exposure to 1–2 full-cycle SAP project implementations.

✅ Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of SAP data warehousing platforms, including:

  • SAP BW/4HANA – advanced modeling and scripting

  • SAP HANA (Cloud or 2.0) – modeling, SQL, stored procedures

• Good working knowledge of data replication strategies to HANA/BW.

✅ Consulting Capabilities:

• Strong communication skills—written and oral—for customer-facing roles.

• Confident presentation and stakeholder management abilities.

• Capacity to manage delivery and planning for large team engagements.

✅ Preferred Add-Ons (Good to Have):

• Knowledge of mixed modeling using BW/4HANA + HANA native modeling.

• Ability to design and extend CDS Views in S/4HANA.

• Familiarity with KPI modeling tools like SAP KPI Modeller.

• Experience with predictive analytics, SAC Smart Features, and SAC Application Designer.

• Exposure to SAP BPC, TPM, BW-IP for financial planning and consolidation.

• Familiarity with ABAP, HANA XSA development, or Node.js is a plus.
