You will serve as the primary orchestrator of Azure’s Account/Portfolio Business Plans, collaborating with leaders, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive sales growth, process discipline, and performance excellence. With a unique blend of business intelligence, coaching, and execution, you’ll enable sales leaders and teams to succeed in a dynamic, fast-evolving cloud landscape.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✅ Business Partnership & Strategy Enablement

Act as the primary orchestrator of the Azure Account/Partner Portfolio Business Plan
-
Build sponsorship within segment leaders, aligning on mid- to long-term growth goals
-
Provide coaching on sales strategy fundamentals, including pipeline execution, quota alignment, and opportunity management (up-sell, cross-sell, renewal)

Guide teams on integrating Azure industry solutions and prioritized sales plays
-
Analyze business performance and recommend strategic actions to accelerate cloud revenue
✅ Sales Rhythm & Execution

Define and lead the Rhythm of the Connection (RoC)—a structured cadence of business review and performance monitoring
-
Provide leadership with data-driven insights, empowering decision-making across territories and segments
-
Ensure quality outcomes from RoC reviews by aligning strategic priorities with execution
✅ Sales Planning & Quota Strategy

Collaborate on territory segmentation, quota setting, and headcount allocation
-
Share local business insights and review segmentation adjustments prior to quota decisions
-
Partner with Business & Sales Operations (BSO) for quota dissemination and alignment
✅ Sales Process Discipline & Pipeline Health

Lead efforts to standardize and improve the sales process

Hold sales managers accountable for account plan quality

Drive consistency in execution and pipeline health across regions

Leverage analytics to track key revenue drivers by product, channel, and geography

Drive adoption of reporting tools and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency
✅ Sales Coaching & Capability Building

Enable transformation through a coaching culture, elevating sales effectiveness and partner engagement

Coach sales managers on growth mindset, performance excellence, and high-impact leadership

Identify roadblocks and lead efforts to resolve blockers in collaboration with Area Capability Leads and Transformation Leads

Drive adoption of Microsoft Corporate or TimeZone sales programs, fostering change and habit formation across sales teams
✅ Leadership Support & Strategic Advocacy

Serve as a trusted advisor to segment leaders, supporting decisions on team structure, resource allocation, and talent development
-
Represent the Azure sales segment as a strategic voice, ensuring alignment with corporate programs and field enablement
-
Guide internal stakeholders and engineering teams on tooling, process feedback, and continuous improvement
🎓 Required Qualifications
-
8+ years of experience in:
-
Sales, sales operations, business development, marketing, consulting, account management, or related fields
-
With strong involvement in business transformation or sales strategy implementation
-

5+ years of experience using data and analytics to drive decisions
-
5+ years of managing stakeholder relationships across business functions or with customers and partners
🌟 Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline

Proven experience in:

Planning and executing account strategies at a regional or global level

Coaching and enabling sales leaders at scale

📊 Tools & Capabilities

Advanced proficiency with sales analytics, CRM systems, and reporting dashboards (Power BI, Excel, Dynamics, etc.)

Experience managing or influencing the use of sales enablement platforms

Working knowledge of sales rhythms, quota management, and enterprise cloud sales

Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex strategies to executive audiences
