Role Responsibilities

As a Watson AI Developer, you will:

• Develop and deploy AI and chatbot solutions using IBM Watson suite (Assistant, Discovery, Studio, Watsonx.ai).
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, providing AI-based recommendations and insights for conversational and automation use cases.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to drive on-time project execution and maintain excellence in deliverables.
• Research, evaluate, and implement advanced Watson AI algorithms and tools.
• Translate customer requirements into scalable and robust AI solutions.
• Develop and train machine learning applications tailored to business needs.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot software systems including third-party integrations, performance, and security settings.

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
• A minimum of 10+ years of overall experience in software development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Expertise in Generative AI and application of Watson AI tools.
• Extensive hands-on experience working with IBM Watson technologies including Assistant, Discovery, Studio, and Watsonx.ai.
• Strong experience in managing ETL workflows and integrating data using platforms such as Databand.
• Experience integrating digital avatars (e.g., Soul Machines) into AI workflows.
• Working knowledge of deploying and supporting applications on Linux distributions (RHEL, Ubuntu, CoreOS).
• Strong command over Python, Java, Ansible, Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Exposure to monitoring tools and techniques.
• Certifications from Coursera, Udemy, or IBM Cognitive on AI, Cloud, and IBM products are highly regarded.
• Demonstrated eagerness to rapidly acquire new skills and continuously explore emerging technologies.

Preferred Skills

While not mandatory, the following are advantageous:

• Advanced certifications in AI/ML or IBM Cloud.
