The role requires strong technical knowledge, customer service orientation, and an ability to manage service requests efficiently as per Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Role Purpose
The core responsibility of the Administrator (Contract) is to manage, troubleshoot, and maintain clients’ hardware, software, and network systems. The administrator will be responsible for providing prompt support based on service requests raised by the end-users, ensuring minimal disruption, timely resolution, and high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
As an Administrator (Contract) at Wipro, your duties will include:
1. Service Request Management

Acknowledge and act on all incoming service tickets raised via email, phone (dial home), chat, or internal systems (IMS).

Prioritize, diagnose, and resolve service requests within agreed timelines to maintain SLA compliance.

Deliver prompt solutions for software installation, hardware configuration, user access management, and network issue resolution.
2. System Monitoring and Maintenance

Act as the custodian of assigned client infrastructure including servers, systems, networks, platforms, and storage equipment.

Ensure proactive monitoring and functional checks of client IT assets to maintain high availability and performance.

Coordinate with onsite and remote teams for timely resolution of critical issues.
3. Root Cause Analysis and Escalation Handling

Analyze patterns in recurring tickets and perform root cause analysis to minimize repeat incidents.

Collaborate with senior administrators and project leads to develop preventive action plans.

Handle high-priority service disruptions with urgency and provide immediate temporary or permanent fixes.
4. Incident Resolution and Quality Assurance

Implement robust fixes to restore system health while ensuring data integrity and compliance.

Maintain logs and perform backup of vital system files and resources regularly.

Monitor ChatBot ticket logs and ensure unresolved issues are manually addressed within specified timeframes.
5. Customer Experience and Stakeholder Management

Maintain regular communication with end-users to keep them informed of ticket status, estimated resolution time, and closure updates.

Ensure user satisfaction by adhering to performance benchmarks and reducing ticket resolution time.
