Key Responsibilities

As a QAD Techno-Functional Consultant at Wipro, you will play a critical role in managing, supporting, and enhancing QAD ERP environments. Your duties will include both development and functional consulting across various modules, ensuring seamless integration, performance tuning, and robust support to business users.

Core Functional Duties

Analyze and resolve issues within the QAD ERP system across modules including Distribution, Manufacturing, and Finance.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for EDI e-commerce, EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), Fixed Asset Management, and MSW (Manufacturing Scheduling Workbench).
Understand end-to-end business processes within supply chain and manufacturing environments, aligning ERP configurations accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map user requirements to ERP functionalities and offer effective solutions.

Technical & Development Responsibilities

Develop and debug custom code using Progress 4GL, ensuring optimal performance and system stability.
Support reporting requirements using QAD Reporting Framework, StreamServe, and RF Eagle.
Handle XML-based inbound and outbound integration flows, and configure EDI channels for business partners.
Work with legacy and modern QAD platforms such as Mfg/Pro 9, eB2.1, QAD 2008 SE, QAD 2012 EE, QAD 2015 EE, QAD Adaptive UX, and Qxtend.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in QAD Development, Support, or Migration projects.

Prior experience in handling QAD Adaptive UX and Qxtend is mandatory.
