Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core, .NET Standard, and .NET Framework.
- Modernize legacy applications by converting them into modern .NET Core or .NET Standard-based solutions.
- Develop Windows desktop applications using WPF and WinForms.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA teams in an Agile development environment.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex .NET applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Write efficient, reusable, and reliable code while adhering to coding standards.
- Utilize Azure DevOps, Git, or TFVC for source control and deployment automation.
- Engage in architectural planning sessions and provide valuable input to guide critical technical decisions.
- Ensure software solutions are tested, deployed, and maintained with high quality.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- .NET Expertise:
- 3–4 years of experience developing applications using .NET Core, .NET Standard, and .NET Framework.
- Strong understanding of converting legacy applications into modern .NET platforms.
- C# Proficiency:
- 3–4 years of experience with C#.NET for developing Windows desktop applications.
- Experience in WPF and WinForms is highly preferred.
- Agile Development: Proven experience working in agile teams and software development lifecycles.
- Problem Solving: Ability to tackle complex business problems and deliver efficient solutions.
- Debugging: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in the .NET ecosystem.
- Cross-Platform: Experience in developing cross-platform applications that run on both Windows and Linux using .NET Core is a strong advantage.
- Database Skills: Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with C++ is highly desirable.
- DevOps:
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or TFVC for version control and CI/CD.
- Ability to work in distributed teams and deliver high-quality software on time.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Wonderware System Platform / InTouch.
- Prior involvement in distributed and remote development projects.
- Familiarity with application performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of software security best practices.
