Role Overview
We’re inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – Project Manager, a high-impact leadership position within our Consulting practice in Bangalore.
In this role, you will coordinate and support the entire project lifecycle—including governance, execution, and strategic reporting. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to manage agile deliveries and ensure projects align with Genpact’s global Project Management Standards (PMS) and System Delivery Framework (SDF).
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Project Governance & Methodology

Ensure compliance with Genpact’s PMS Assurance Framework across all project phases.

Monitor project updates in Clarity, ensuring accuracy of data, RAG status, financials, risk logs, milestones, and dependencies.

Support implementation and refresh of internal frameworks such as PMS and SDF.
🔹 Steering Committee Support

Provide high-quality documentation (e.g., ToRs, red packs, closure reports, minutes) for Programme Steering Committees (PgSC).

Coordinate and deliver presentations for internal governance forums and country-level review boards.
🔹 Portfolio Management

Organize and manage PMO Library (Bridge Page) as the single source of project-related information.

Track PM certification, training, and adherence to standardized delivery frameworks.
🔹 PM Enablement & Community Development

Coach project managers through PED preparation, milestone reviews, and documentation best practices.

Conduct PM knowledge-sharing sessions, stakeholder briefings, and educational webinars.

Disseminate updates from group ePMO and Clarity Sprint Releases.
🔹 Risk, Issue, and Quality Management

Proactively manage risks and issues across projects, proposing actionable mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with quality standards across all deliverables, project charters, and closure reports.
🔹 Strategic Planning Support

Participate in the yearly investment budgeting process.

Provide project data and reporting insights for management decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Minimum Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree (in Engineering, Business, or related field).

8–12+ years of experience in enterprise project/program management.

Strong hands-on experience in managing multi-stakeholder, high-complexity deployments.

Expertise with project management tools such as Clarity, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint.

Ability to lead through influence in a matrixed organization.
-
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
-
Strong risk management and analytical problem-solving abilities.

Able to multitask in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments.
✅ Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Certification (PMP or Prince2).

Deep understanding of PMI PMBOK methodologies.

Experience with structured delivery in regulated or global enterprises.

Prior exposure to agile, hybrid, or waterfall methodologies.
