This is a leadership-level infrastructure operations role for an experienced professional who can manage architectural planning, platform optimization, and team performance in a dynamic IT environment.
Role Purpose
The Lead Administrator – L1 is responsible for end-to-end infrastructure architecture, day-to-day operations management, and technical leadership for the assigned tower (platform, middleware, database, backup, etc.). The individual will play a critical role in ensuring system performance, managing escalations, planning upgrades, and leading a technically skilled team to deliver exceptional client service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 1. Platform Architecture & System Optimization

Design and implement platform architecture solutions aligned with system requirements.

Plan and lead the installation, migration, and integration of platform/database/middleware/backup environments.

Perform technology capacity planning and align resources with business growth and scalability needs.

Leverage latest platform features to enhance performance, availability, and resilience.

Design and implement disaster recovery strategies and backup plans.

Continuously fine-tune system performance to reduce inefficiencies and technical debt.
🔹 2. Operational Management

Lead and manage the daily operations of the infrastructure tower, including CISCO Wireless systems.

Troubleshoot system issues, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

Oversee upgrades, patches, migrations, backups, and configuration tasks.

Develop and manage a shift roster to ensure seamless 24/7 operations and business continuity.

Prepare weekly status reports for clients and internal leadership, highlighting progress, bottlenecks, and recommendations.

Use automation and modern tools to implement Service Improvement Plans (SIPs) and eliminate manual inefficiencies.
