About the Role
This position requires a French language certified professional who will be responsible for handling non-voice back-office operations related to Canadian commercial account servicing. The selected candidate will function either as a Maker or Checker, based on performance evaluations. A high level of accuracy, professionalism, and commitment is expected in this role. This is not a voice-based role, making it an ideal opportunity for candidates with written communication expertise in French.
The professional will work closely with internal teams and clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Since this role supports a Canadian client, the candidate must be comfortable working in night shifts aligned with Canadian business hours (5:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST, +/- 1 hour) and must follow Canadian public holidays as declared by the client.
Key Responsibilities

Handle end-to-end processing of French-language non-voice transactions in the BFSI domain.

Operate as either a Maker or Checker, validating transactions for accuracy and compliance.

Support commercial account servicing, ensuring all client interactions and service deliverables are handled with precision.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and timelines are met.

Provide exceptional customer service support by addressing transactional and servicing queries in French.

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection and information security guidelines.

Support English-language transaction volumes when French transactions are low or English volume spikes.

Ensure timely updates and accurate reporting of transactions using tools such as Excel and Outlook.
Mandatory Qualifications and Skills

Education: Bachelor’s or Postgraduate degree (preferably in Commerce or Finance).

Language Certification: French language certification from a recognized institution is mandatory.

BFSI Domain Expertise: Proven experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector, especially in back-office operations. Exceptions may be considered depending on the candidate’s relevant experience and current role.

Language Proficiency: Excellent spoken and written communication skills in both French and English.

Technological Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook is essential.
