🧩 Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Service Delivery Manager, you’ll take on a critical role that blends strategy, technical depth, and customer experience:

✅ Trusted Security Advisor

  • Serve as the central point of contact for Defender Experts customers.

  • Guide them through complex incidents and investigations.

  • Offer actionable recommendations to enhance their cybersecurity posture.

✅ Customer Engagement

  • Foster deep and meaningful relationships across client organizations—from CISO-level executives to SOC engineers.

  • Act as a communicator and bridge between technical services and business stakeholders.

✅ Incident Handling & Escalation

  • Lead the triage and management of active security threats and incidents.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across internal Microsoft security teams and client organizations to coordinate timely resolutions.

✅ Customer Advocacy

  • Represent the voice of the customer within Microsoft.

  • Work to influence product enhancements, service delivery optimization, and long-term partnership success.


🧠 Required Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience, including roles in Security Operations Centers (SOC), incident response, or information security leadership.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Defender products, ideally:

    • 300-level knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE) and Defender for Office (MDO)

    • 200-level knowledge of Defender for Cloud Apps (MDA), Defender for Identity (MDI), and Microsoft Defender for Cloud (MDC)

  • Proven client-facing communication skills—you can simplify complex issues and influence decision-makers.

  • Ability to translate technical solutions into strategic business value for both technical and non-technical audiences.
