This multifaceted role involves managing the full spectrum of HR generalist functions, including onboarding and offboarding, HR systems administration (primarily Workday and SharePoint), visa and immigration tracking, employee engagement, performance data reporting, and more. You will be working with cross-functional HR teams, HRBPs, and business units across EMEA to ensure streamlined, compliant, and efficient HR operations.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist supporting the EMEA region, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:
✅ Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

New Joiner Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for employees joining in the EMEA region. This includes:

Updating employee records on Workday
-
Verifying documentation for new hires
-
Conducting profile audits to ensure compliance
-
Coordinating and dispatching onboarding emails to new hires
-

Background Checks: Facilitate background verification via Sterling and prepare weekly background check status reports for HR teams.

Offboarding Process: Oversee the offboarding journey, including:

Terminating employee profiles in Workday
-
Preparing and sending exit communication
-
Managing and archiving documentation for leavers
-
Maintaining accurate data logs of terminated employees

📊 HR Systems & Data Management

Workday HRIS Administration:
-
Update employee information (e.g., professional details, EA changes)
-
Manage onboarding/offboarding workflow and reporting
-
Process ad hoc Workday requests from HRBPs and managers
-

SharePoint: Organize and maintain HR databases, folders, and documentation on SharePoint for easy access and compliance.

Service Desk Ticketing: Create and manage tickets for ad hoc HR service requests, ensuring prompt response and resolution.
🌍 Visa & Immigration Support

Visa Management: Handle visa processing and tracking for new hires and transferred employees, including settled/pre-settled status management in compliance with EMEA region regulations.

Immigration Tracker: Maintain and update weekly visa and immigration case status reports for HR and legal teams.
📈 Employee Performance & Engagement

360 Feedback Administration:

Generate and analyze 360-degree feedback reports for various stakeholders including HRBPs and team leads.

Update employee information on the 360 feedback platform as needed.

Engagement Surveys:

Design and execute heat maps, engagement metrics, and analytical dashboards.

Prepare PowerPoint decks for executive reporting across different business units.

🧩 Organizational Charts & Legal Documents

Create and update organizational charts for key EMEA locations such as Luxembourg, Milan, Germany, and France, using HR data sources.

Support the Power of Attorney (POA) process by preparing relevant documentation and tracking legal compliance procedures.
🕒 Absence & Expense Management

Absence Tracking: Approve and track timesheets for visa-sponsored employees within the Workday system to ensure compliance with local labor laws.

Expense Reimbursements: Support stakeholder expense management using the Concur platform—ensuring accuracy, timely reimbursements, and alignment with financial policies.
📌 Additional Responsibilities

Handle various ad hoc reports and data requests from leadership and HRBPs.

Support the creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimize HR efficiency and ensure consistency in processes.

Assist in providing required system and document access to HRBPs and other internal stakeholders.

Participate in training programs to stay updated on the latest Workday and HR compliance practices.
