Role Summary:

Genpact is currently seeking talented and dynamic professionals to join its Source to Pay (S2P) team as a Process Developer focusing on Purchase Order (PO) Management. This role plays a vital part in the overall procurement lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, invoice resolutions, and fulfillment tasks that support business continuity.

The selected candidate will act as a link between suppliers and internal teams, maintaining order accuracy, mitigating delays, and ensuring that service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Purchase Order Issuance:

Create and issue purchase orders in alignment with internal requisitions or demand forecasts.
Ensure accuracy of PO details including pricing, quantity, delivery timelines, and supplier information.

2. Order Management & Fulfillment:

Proactively track and manage supplier acknowledgments, order confirmations, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
Adjust and update ERP systems in case of any amendments in supplier promise dates due to early or delayed delivery schedules.

3. Supplier Coordination & Issue Resolution:

Serve as a point of contact for suppliers regarding unpaid invoices, discrepancies, or delivery issues.
Facilitate resolution of material discrepancies by collaborating with sourcing, warehouse, finance, and quality assurance teams.
Manage fulfillment challenges and ensure timely updates in enterprise procurement systems.

4. Reporting & Analysis:

Maintain and publish regular performance reports, tracking KPIs and SLA adherence.
Conduct root cause analysis for any fulfillment delays or invoice issues, suggesting preventive action.
Identify process gaps and assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or purchase order management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Excel (formulas, pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement practices related to both direct and indirect material purchases.

Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba.
Understanding of procurement policies, vendor management, and compliance standards.
Familiarity with industrial commodities and supply chain components.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs.
