About the Role
As a Process Analyst – R2R, you will be responsible for managing general accounting functions and financial reporting activities within the Record to Report (R2R) framework. This includes reconciliation, preparation of balance sheets and profit and loss accounts, inter-company accounting, fixed assets, cash and bank accounting, and regulatory compliance.
You will play a key role in coordinating with finance teams, identifying risk and cost optimization opportunities, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger functions, including cash and bank operations, indirect tax, fixed assets, inter-company transactions, accruals, and inventory.
- Prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements with accuracy and timeliness.
- Support month-end and year-end closure processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Post journal entries and accurately record transactions within ERP systems.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities related to cost, revenue, and profitability.
- Implement solutions to enhance financial performance and process efficiency.
- Adhere to client-defined SLAs and maintain strict adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate with audit teams and ensure documentation is complete and audit-ready.
- Provide clear and concise updates for management reporting and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related financial discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Record to Report (R2R) finance processes.
- Proficiency in preparing balance sheets, managing fixed assets, performing inter-company reconciliations, and cash flow tracking.
- Experience in ERP financial modules with a strong understanding of posting journal entries and general accounting practices.
- Proven experience supporting audits and client communications.
- Strong communication and reporting skills to meet customer and internal expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Finance or a related field is a plus.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word for data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
- Hands-on experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms like SAP, Oracle, or equivalent systems for financial operations.
- Proven capability to operate autonomously, establish clear objectives, and consistently deliver measurable outcomes.
