Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) or architect for SAP Security within the IBM Consulting ecosystem.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify security needs and convert them into actionable technical design and documentation.
- Analyze the impact of security changes on SAP applications and their connected systems.
- Estimate project timelines, resources, and implementation efforts.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Security, focusing on role authorization and access control.
- Configure, implement, and test SAP ECC 6.0 and S/4HANA security roles to ensure accurate user access and compliance.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across functions to coordinate and deliver integrated, secure SAP solutions.
- Provide support during audits and ensure compliance with security standards, including SOD (Segregation of Duties).
- Develop technical documentation, test cases, and user manuals.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three to five years of hands-on experience delivering SAP Security solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on expertise in designing and configuring roles and authorizations in SAP ECC 6.0.
- Comprehensive understanding of compliance protocols and Segregation of Duties (SOD) principles to enforce secure access governance.
- Experience working with business and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to lead SAP Security projects from planning to execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable.
- Familiarity with SOX and GRC Controls.
- Knowledge of SAP HANA security architecture and administration.
