About the Role

As a Senior Process Analyst – Record to Report, you will manage and execute critical financial operations within the general ledger domain. Your core responsibilities include managing reconciliations, preparing financial statements such as balance sheets and profit & loss accounts, overseeing fixed asset and inter-company accounting, and ensuring smooth cash and bank transactions. Your expertise will support robust financial reporting, compliance, and performance analytics that influence key business decisions.

This role is vital in ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant financial processes that align with client Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and drive operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full scope of general ledger activities, including fixed assets, cash/bank, inventory, accruals, indirect tax, and inter-company transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial controls.
  • Post journal entries and accurately record transactions using SAP ERP systems.
  • Identify operational risks and financial inconsistencies; recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit preparedness and maintain comprehensive supporting documentation.
  • Support management with accurate reporting for internal reviews and performance assessments.
  • Adhere to SLAs and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality financial operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Undergraduate qualification in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • Four to six years of demonstrated hands-on experience managing Record to Report (R2R) financial processes.
  • Extensive experience in generating accurate Balance Sheets and managing Fixed Assets, Inter-Company operations, and Cash Reconciliation processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to post journal entries and handle ERP-based financial operations.
  • Experience coordinating audits and handling client expectations.
  • Proven track record in preparing reports for management decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, or related field is advantageous.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools and hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and dynamic work environments.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Willingness to enhance technical knowledge through certifications, workshops, or self-learning.
