Position Overview: Account Executive – BFS
Wipro is seeking a seasoned Account Executive to lead strategic client engagement and revenue growth for its Banking & Financial Services portfolio in the Toronto region. The Account Executive (AE) will be responsible for nurturing deep executive-level relationships, identifying and driving new revenue opportunities, and managing the end-to-end P&L for strategic accounts.
This is a client-facing leadership role requiring a strong background in IT sales, relationship management, strategic planning, and delivery oversight. Key Responsibilities
As the Account Executive for BFS, you will serve as the primary point of contact for Wipro’s strategic clients in the region. Your mission is to drive profitable growth, strengthen client relationships, and enhance Wipro’s market share by offering transformative solutions.
1. Strategic Account Management

Drive new business initiatives within the assigned BFS account(s), targeting revenue growth through consultative and solution-oriented selling.

Present and position Wipro’s value propositions across Cloud, Digital, AI/ML, Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure, and Business Process Services.

Collaborate with sales, pre-sales, and industry specialists to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and proactively generate proposals tailored to client needs.

Set and achieve growth targets across key performance indicators such as bookings, revenue, operating margin (OM), and customer retention.
3. Client Satisfaction and Delivery Oversight

Ensure successful project execution, meeting or exceeding delivery expectations through continuous coordination with delivery teams.

Conduct regular client meetings to gather feedback, mitigate risks, and ensure alignment with SLAs and KPIs.

Facilitate resolution of escalations or delivery bottlenecks by working closely with cross-functional teams.

4. Innovation and Market Leadership

Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background:

12+ years of experience in sales, client management, or business development within the IT services or consulting space.

At least 5 years of BFS industry experience, with a solid understanding of banking operations, digital banking, risk & compliance, and financial data management.

Proven track record of owning a portfolio exceeding $20M+ and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Demonstrated success in selling complex IT services (cloud, digital transformation, analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure) to enterprise clients.
Technical and Functional Competencies:

Comprehensive knowledge of the Global Delivery Model (GDM) and various IT service lines.

Strong familiarity with solution selling, RFP responses, and contract negotiation in large enterprises.
