This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced full-stack professionals who want to work on high-impact digital transformation projects using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React/Angular, and cloud-native technologies.

Role Purpose

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in architecting and developing scalable, secure, and robust enterprise applications. You’ll be working on the latest full-stack technologies, enabling businesses to transition from legacy systems to modern cloud-based platforms.

You will be responsible for leading the design, development, testing, and implementation of full-stack applications, while also mentoring junior developers and ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

1. Application Design and Architecture

  • Collaborate with solution architects and business stakeholders to define application architecture and high-level designs.

  • Apply industry-standard design patterns and principles for building scalable microservices-based applications.

  • Translate functional requirements into clean, modular, and maintainable code.

2. Full Stack Development

  • Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.

  • Build intuitive and responsive front-end interfaces using React.js or Angular and standard web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Integrate APIs and ensure seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.

3. Code Quality and Performance Optimization

  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to coding standards and guidelines.

  • Optimize code for performance and scalability.

  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality and mentoring peers in improving design and implementation.

4. Testing and Debugging

  • Perform unit, integration, and regression testing using modern testing frameworks.

  • Resolve defects and troubleshoot complex issues during the development lifecycle.

  • Ensure that application components function reliably across environments.

5. CI/CD and DevOps Integration

  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, and deployment processes.

  • Work in Agile/Scrum environments with tools such as JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Docker.

  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives to deliver software in iterative cycles.

6. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure user-centric product development.

  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, dependencies, and delivery timelines.

  • Support team efforts to meet deadlines while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a strong command of modern full-stack technologies, with a focus on enterprise-grade Java development.

Technical Skills

  • Backend Development: Java, J2EE, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Hibernate ORM

  • Frontend Development: React.js or Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3

  • API Integration: RESTful APIs, JSON/XML, API versioning & security

  • Microservices Architecture: Development, deployment, and maintenance of loosely coupled services

  • Database Skills: SQL, RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle

  • Version Control: Git/GitHub or Bitbucket

  • Build & Deployment Tools: Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes (good to have)

  • Agile & DevOps Methodology: Experience working in Agile teams and CI/CD pipelines

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in full-stack application development, with proven experience in Java and front-end technologies.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Mandatory)

  • Oracle Certified Java Developer

  • Spring Professional Certification

  • AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Developer Certifications

  • Certified Scrum Developer (CSD)

This role is open across Wipro offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Pune. Based on project needs and individual preference, hybrid and flexible work models may be considered.
