Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development:
    • Develop scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native services.
    • Collaborate on architecture and design of core components for Azure Data Services.
  • Pipeline Engineering:
    • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment.
    • Ensure deployment efficiency and minimal service disruption.
  • Cluster Management:
    • Manage and deploy massive Hadoop, Spark, and related clusters.
  • Issue Resolution:
    • Triage and resolve service issues swiftly to maintain business continuity.
    • Conduct root cause analysis, post-mortems, and trend diagnostics.
  • Ownership and Leadership:
    • Take ownership of components from requirements to production.
    • Collaborate across teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
    • Equivalent experience will also be considered
  • Technical Experience:
    • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience
    • Proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python
    • Strong understanding and experience in ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with cloud-based data engineering pipelines
  • Familiarity with Azure ecosystem and Microsoft Fabric
  • Demonstrated expertise in cluster management and data-driven architectures
  • Certifications or experience with distributed systems and large-scale cloud services
