We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Lead – L1 to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad, where you will play a key role in ensuring technical quality, process adherence, and team capability development.


Role Objective: Lead Technical Delivery with Impact

The Technical Lead – L1 is responsible for overseeing technical operations, resolving escalations, and enhancing the capabilities of the team. Your role is crucial in ensuring consistent service delivery, guiding junior team members, and troubleshooting complex issues using your expertise in JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services).

This role is a blend of leadership, technical troubleshooting, and people development. You will act as a bridge between production specialists and senior technical architects to streamline the technical processes and elevate team performance.


Key Responsibilities

1. Process Monitoring and Team Support

  • Monitor daily team activity and ensure all performance standards and SLAs are met.

  • Review team dashboards and performance metrics regularly to identify and address gaps.

  • Offer real-time support to team members by providing both technical and procedural guidance.

  • Track all client queries and document resolutions to create a knowledge base for the team.

  • Maintain process discipline by ensuring all client interactions comply with SOPs and SLA terms.

  • Analyze call logs and recurring issues to preempt future bottlenecks.

2. Client Query Management and Escalation Handling

  • Handle escalations with in-depth troubleshooting using JAX-RS and RESTful API methodologies.

  • Guide users step-by-step through problem resolution in a clear, courteous, and user-friendly manner.

  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to the Technical Architect (TA) or System Engineering Support (SES) as per protocol.

  • Provide well-documented resolutions for each issue handled to assist in future troubleshooting scenarios.

  • Communicate with clients professionally before, during, and after each query to ensure clarity and satisfaction.

  • Offer appropriate alternative solutions when full resolution is not immediately possible, always prioritizing customer retention.

3. Technical Mentorship and Capability Development

  • Mentor production specialists on technical issues and guide them on best practices.

  • Assess skill gaps through regular performance reviews and team interviews.

  • Design and execute training modules and technical triages to build team competency.

  • Ensure all training activities are aligned with client needs and process demands.

  • Regularly participate in product-specific training programs to stay current on new features and technologies.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning by sharing knowledge and promoting technical discussions.

As a Technical Lead, your success will be measured against several defined performance indicators across process efficiency, team management, and skill development.

Process Delivery Metrics

  • Number of queries resolved per day

  • SLA compliance rate

  • Process quality assurance

  • Customer satisfaction scores (Pulse Score, NSAT, ESAT)

Team Management Metrics

  • Team attendance and absenteeism rate

  • Individual and team productivity benchmarks

  • Collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the team

Capability Building Metrics

  • Number of training triages conducted

  • Improvement in technical test results post-training

  • Reduced recurrence of escalations due to enhanced team skill level


Technical Skill Requirements

This role requires in-depth knowledge and application of JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services). Candidates must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Design, develop, and deploy RESTful web services using Java.

  • Integrate JAX-RS into enterprise applications effectively.

  • Handle complex troubleshooting of API-based application layers.

  • Work with HTTP protocols, URI routing, JSON/XML parsing, and RESTful standards.
