Role Overview: Combine Technical Expertise with Leadership Excellence

The Technical Lead – L1 is a critical role responsible for overseeing day-to-day process delivery, resolving technical escalations, ensuring high service quality, and upskilling team members. As a seasoned technical expert and team leader, you’ll play a vital role in delivering enterprise-level Java-based solutions, ensuring SLA compliance, and maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Your ability to balance hands-on development with strategic oversight will directly impact process efficiency, team capability, and client relationships.


Core Responsibilities

1. Process Oversight and Quality Delivery

  • Monitor Team Performance: Track daily task execution and output metrics across production specialists.

  • Review Dashboards: Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and address underperforming areas.

  • Provide Process Guidance: Act as a go-to resource for both technical and process-related issues.

  • SLA Management: Ensure all client queries are resolved as per the Service Level Agreements.

  • Root Cause Analysis: Review historical call logs to identify recurring technical issues and proactively implement preventive measures.

  • Standardization: Enforce adherence to established processes and standard operating procedures.

  • Escalation Handling: Identify red flags early and escalate critical or unresolved issues to the team leader or senior engineering staff.

  • Legal Compliance: Monitor adherence to service contracts and data confidentiality policies.

2. Technical Escalation and Problem Solving

  • Fullstack Troubleshooting: Address and resolve technical escalations involving Fullstack Java Enterprise technologies.

  • Diagnosis & Support: Perform detailed issue diagnosis and guide clients with step-by-step resolutions.

  • Technical Communication: Maintain a courteous, clear, and professional tone in all technical communications with clients.

  • SLA-Driven Resolution: Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient resolution of all escalated cases within agreed SLAs.

  • Client Retention: Offer well-thought-out alternative solutions that help preserve and enhance client relationships.

  • Follow-Up & Feedback: Conduct scheduled callbacks to validate solutions and collect feedback.

3. People Development and Capability Building

  • Team Mentorship: Coach and mentor production specialists on Java technologies, software best practices, and problem-solving strategies.

  • Training Development: Organize and lead triage sessions to bridge skill gaps across the team.

  • Product Education: Guide team members on new features, updates, and release enhancements for supported products.

  • Learning Culture: Foster a knowledge-sharing environment through peer learning, workshops, and technical discussions.

  • Certification Support: Encourage team members to pursue internal and external certifications.

To ensure success and performance visibility, your work will be evaluated across three core performance dimensions:

Mandatory Technical Skill: Full stack Java Enterprise

As a Technical Lead, deep knowledge and hands-on experience in Full stack Java Enterprise technologies is a must. This includes:

  • Java EE / Jakarta EE: Solid grasp of servlets, EJBs, JPA, and RESTful services.

  • Frontend Development: Proficiency in Angular/ReactJS, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
