Role Summary
As a Learning Architect within Infosys Consulting, your primary responsibility will be to understand training needs, design instructional strategies, and lead the creation of engaging and effective learning content using state-of-the-art digital tools. This role requires expertise in instructional design, adult learning theories, and a working knowledge of machine learning-supported adaptive learning systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instructional Design Leadership
- Create and lead the design of instructional strategies tailored to different learner personas, business needs, and performance goals.
- Apply adult learning principles and Bloom’s taxonomy to develop interactive, engaging, and outcomes-driven learning paths.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), business stakeholders, and instructional designers to structure content effectively.
2. Learning Experience Development
- Build end-to-end learning experiences that include e-learning, simulations, assessments, and job aids.
- Apply storytelling techniques, scenario-based learning, gamification, and microlearning for optimal knowledge retention.
- Review and refine course content, ensuring alignment with Infosys brand guidelines and global quality standards.
3. Technology and Tools Expertise
- Design and deploy learning assets using leading authoring tools such as:
- Articulate Storyline
- Adobe Captivate
- SAP Enable Now
- WalkMe
- Whatfix
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Experience Platforms (LXP) for effective distribution and tracking.
- Implement SCORM, xAPI, and other learning standards for analytics and interoperability.
4. Needs Analysis and Learning Architecture Planning
- Conduct thorough training needs assessments (TNA) and gap analysis.
- Define learning architecture across multiple modalities: online, blended, virtual ILT, and mobile learning.
- Provide recommendations on learning strategies and content development timelines based on complexity, learner profiles, and business impact.
5. Quality Assurance and Evaluation
- Perform usability testing and QA for all e-learning modules.
- Gather learner feedback through surveys, interviews, and analytics.
- Use Kirkpatrick’s Four-Level Evaluation Model to assess learning impact and make iterative improvements.

Technical and Professional Requirements
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Literature, Mathematics, Education, Instructional Design, or any relevant discipline
Required Skills:
- Expertise in Instructional Design Methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning)
- Knowledge of interactivity models (drag-and-drop, branching, simulations)
- Experience with tools like:
