Role Overview: Techno Functional Consultant – L1
Wipro is hiring a Techno Functional Consultant (Level 1) to join our Bengaluru-based team. This position is designed for a skilled professional who can act as a bridge between technical implementation and functional business requirements. The ideal candidate will provide ERP-related solutions and support to enhance business performance while contributing to ongoing implementations and production support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Techno-Functional Delivery and Solutioning
- Manage end-to-end project implementation, from requirements gathering to configuration, integration, and production deployment.
- Evaluate enterprise requirements and analyze the viability and business implications of suggested changes within the ERP ecosystem.
- Develop and propose optimal ERP solutions aligned with project timelines and business expectations.
- Provide hands-on support during new system builds, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Translate functional design documents into customized technical implementations within ERP environments.
- Extend, localize, or modify existing ERP applications using code as per defined development standards.
- Implement business processes using ERP technologies while ensuring optimal system performance.
- Deliver product support to clients, troubleshoot day-to-day ERP issues, and provide resolution for technical challenges.
- Deploy automation tools to streamline processes and increase operational efficiency.
- Serve as a key advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, aligning technical and functional perspectives.
- Coordinate closely with on-site and off-site teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery.
2. Knowledge Building and Continuous Improvement
- Participate in Wipro’s internal assessments and certification programs to maintain skill relevance.
- Participate in industry seminars and functional training programs to deepen technical expertise and broaden domain understanding.
- Author whitepapers, blogs, and case studies for internal and external publishing.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated capability to identify root causes, recommend fixes, and apply logical thinking to challenges.
