Role Summary

As a Package Consultant – SAP HANA SCM PP, you will be responsible for assisting IBM clients with the selection, implementation, and support of SAP’s Production Planning module. You will serve as a subject matter expert in SAP PP and play a vital role in delivering business value through end-to-end SAP solutions. You will join a team of experts delivering innovation and transformation for leading enterprises.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute SAP PP module implementation, from planning to post-go-live support.
Conduct requirement analysis, prepare functional specs, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Configure SAP PP settings based on business needs and best practices.
Guide clients through system testing phases including Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Handle client workshops and presentations as part of solution design or problem-solving discussions.
Collaborate with cross-functional and distributed teams for successful project delivery.
Ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
Work on SAP PP integration with other modules such as MM, QM, and SD.

Required Qualifications

Education:

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Technology.

Experience:

Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on functional experience in SAP Production Planning (PP).
Proven ability to design, configure, and implement SAP PP in both ECC and S/4 HANA environments.
Adept at managing business requirement analysis and translating them into system configurations.
Experience in preparing test scripts, data validation, and coordinating system deployment.
Knowledge of transport management, SAP Notes implementation, and debugging.
Ability to create comprehensive documentation for configurations, functional specs, and test scenarios.

Preferred Skills

Hands-on experience working in SAP S/4 HANA environments is a distinct advantage.
Understanding of SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM) and its interaction with PP.
Knowledge in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and integration with SAP PP.
Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and DevOps processes.
Experience in international rollouts and multi-country template implementations.
