Position Overview: System Engineer – L3
Wipro is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated System Engineer – L3 for its Hyderabad location. This role is best suited for professionals who exhibit exceptional communication skills and have strong technical expertise in troubleshooting various IT systems and applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless remote support for Wipro’s internal and client-side technical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support to resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Citrix, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), and various security applications.
- Deliver excellent customer support through phone and email communication.
- Demonstrate strong empathy and patience while handling irate customers with professionalism.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the base operating systems and show eagerness to learn emerging technologies.
- Record and manage technical issues as per company-defined protocols and operating procedures.
- Escalate unresolved or complex issues to higher-level support teams and supervisors promptly.
- Offer detailed and accurate product and service information to customers.
- Utilize available knowledge bases and tools to research and resolve user-reported problems efficiently.
- Categorize, route, and escalate tickets to the appropriate support teams and domains.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to documentation by creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Complete call logs, issue reports, and submit periodic performance summaries.
- Notify management of patterns or trends in customer interactions that may signal underlying systemic problems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Proficiency in handling technical troubleshooting related to OS, mail clients, VPNs, and virtual environments.
- Ability to operate autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve issues methodically.
- Previous hands-on experience in IT helpdesk operations or providing remote technical support is considered a strong advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
