As a Sales Director – Digital Experience, you will play a pivotal role in representing the DX practice within Wipro. This position is tailored for an industry expert with deep domain knowledge and the ability to understand the nuances of client challenges in the digital landscape. You will be empowered to drive business transformation initiatives by aligning Wipro’s cutting-edge offerings with client requirements.


Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Sales Management
You will oversee the entire Digital Experience order book for a designated portfolio within the Swiss region. Your strategic insights and market understanding will be key in shaping and driving business opportunities.

2. CXO Engagement & Relationship Building
Act as the primary liaison between Wipro and senior stakeholders, including CXOs and line-of-business owners. Cultivate deep relationships rooted in trust, transparency, and shared strategic goals.

3. Business Discovery & Consulting
Develop a comprehensive understanding of client business models, operational challenges, and growth strategies. This role requires a consultancy-driven approach to identifying opportunities for digital innovation.

4. Opportunity Management & Solutioning
Collaborate with globally dispersed pre-sales and technical teams to proactively identify, design, and present high-impact digital solutions. Manage responses to RFPs and RFIs, shaping proposals that align closely with client expectations.

5. Pipeline Generation & Demand Creation
Leverage personal industry network, Wipro’s strategic alliances, and marketing resources to generate high-quality leads and new business opportunities.

6. Scoping & Execution Planning
Engage in early-stage scoping of digital assignments. Coordinate with account managers to draft and implement effective Business Development Plans tailored to each client.

7. Delivery Support & Customer Success
Ensure smooth transition from sales to delivery. Support execution teams in aligning with client expectations and ensuring superior delivery outcomes.

8. Go the Extra Mile
Demonstrate exceptional ownership, resilience, and a proactive mindset to exceed client and organizational expectations.


Candidate Profile & Required Experience

Industry Expertise:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in a major systems integrator or consulting firm, with at least 5 years in sales roles focused on digital and application services.

Digital Transformation Knowledge:

  • Proven success in identifying, shaping, and closing complex digital transformation deals.
  • Well-versed in areas including customer experience strategy, digital channels (B2C, B2B, B2E), mobile apps, portals, immersive platforms like Metaverse, conversational AI, low-code platforms, digital commerce, marketing automation, and business process reengineering.

Sales Leadership:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and win large deals. Skilled in structuring innovative solutions and managing multi-stakeholder sales cycles from origination to closure.

Consultative Approach:

  • Ability to engage deeply with client challenges and co-create tailored solutions.
  • Adept at conducting business discovery workshops and creating compelling business cases.

Executive Presence:

  • Exceptional communication skills to engage senior-level executives with confidence.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation capabilities.

Education & Professionalism:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Technology, or a relevant field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.
  • Demonstrates collaborative spirit, interpersonal finesse, and team leadership.
