Position Overview: Client Partner – Strategic Account Management
Wipro is seeking an experienced Client Partner to lead strategic account development and long-term client growth in the New Jersey region. This senior-level position involves managing a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving revenue growth, and establishing trusted advisor relationships with top executives.
As a Client Partner, you will define and execute organic growth strategies for your assigned accounts, ensure high client satisfaction through superior service delivery, and align Wipro’s full spectrum of services to solve client business challenges. This role requires strong consultative sales acumen, account management skills, and the ability to foster lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage strategic client relationships with Fortune 500 organizations.
- Develop and implement annual account plans including revenue forecasts, growth opportunities, and solution roadmaps.
- Establish a strategic vision for account development in alignment with client transformation goals.
- Identify and convert cross-selling opportunities across Wipro’s service lines including digital, cloud, cybersecurity, AI/ML, infrastructure, and engineering.
- Lead the full sales lifecycle—proposals, RFP/RFI responses, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Manage revenue, bookings, and operating margins for each account; ensure account profitability.
- Work collaboratively with delivery, pre-sales, solutioning, legal, finance, and other cross-functional teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client procurement, contract management, and billing processes.
- Engage senior customer executives (CIOs, VPs, Directors) as a trusted strategic advisor.
- Resolve operational, delivery, or team-related issues in coordination with internal Wipro teams.
- Continuously seek ways to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen client loyalty.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience: A minimum of 15 years in IT services sales or strategic account management, ideally within Tier-1 or Tier-2 global tech firms, demonstrating consistent success in high-value client engagements.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong knowledge of global delivery models (GDM), with hands-on experience in managing multi-million-dollar accounts across regions.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to lead consultative sales engagements, influence stakeholders at all levels, and drive large deal closures.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Capable of orchestrating collaboration across service lines and internal departments to deliver holistic solutions.
- Client Relationships: Experience in building and sustaining C-level relationships and being a value-driven business partner.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to craft compelling value propositions.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex challenges in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
- Results-Oriented: Holds a track record of achieving or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Compensation Range: $200,000 – $280,000
