Position Overview: Account Executive – Strategic Accounts
Wipro is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to manage and grow strategic client relationships in the San Francisco region. This role is critical in driving account growth, ensuring customer satisfaction, and establishing Wipro as a trusted advisor. You will lead the development and execution of account strategies, deliver business value to clients, and drive profitable revenue growth.
As an Account Executive, you will have full ownership of a multi-million-dollar portfolio, including setting the vision, strategic planning, and spearheading relationship management at all organizational levels. Your mission will be to strengthen client partnerships, deliver digital transformation, and position Wipro for long-term success in the account.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for your account portfolio, ensuring alignment with both client goals and Wipro’s service offerings.
- Build and manage high-value relationships with senior stakeholders including CIOs, VPs, Procurement leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and generate new revenue opportunities across different lines of business through proactive engagement and consultative selling.
- Lead and contribute to proposal creation, including responses to RFPs and RFIs, and present tailored solutions to address client needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across service lines to craft end-to-end solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
- Drive contract negotiation, invoicing, and payment processes by maintaining strong relationships with client procurement and supplier management teams.
- Track key performance metrics including revenue targets, bookings, order margins, and client satisfaction.
- Ensure smooth delivery of services, proactively addressing any delivery challenges and contributing to people management within Wipro’s delivery teams.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients by understanding their business challenges and recommending innovative digital solutions.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- At least 15 years of proven experience in IT services sales, demonstrating consistent success in leading Tier-1 or Tier-2 technology firms.
- Proven ability to manage and grow multi-million-dollar accounts across multiple geographies.
- In-depth expertise in global delivery frameworks and integrating services seamlessly across distributed teams.
- Deep experience in cross-selling various IT and digital transformation services.
- Outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and consultative selling skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Experience collaborating with pre-sales, delivery, and practice teams to drive business outcomes.
- Exposure to both delivery and sales functions is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex client issues and lead internal team management when needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Compensation Range: $200,000 – $280,000
