📌 Job Summary: Lead Administrator – L1

As a Lead Administrator – L1, you will play a critical leadership role in managing the end-to-end operations of IT towers such as platform, database, middleware, and backup infrastructure. This role is highly technical and strategic, combining architecture planning, capacity design, disaster recovery, and daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery and platform performance.

You will act as a technical authority within your assigned tower, lead new implementations and upgrades, oversee infrastructure troubleshooting, and provide critical input for scaling and optimizing infrastructure operations. This role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on expertise in managing enterprise-grade IT systems.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

🔧 Technical Architecture and Planning

• Drive the architecture, migration, and installation strategies for new infrastructure projects within your tower (platform/database/middleware/backup).

• Define and guide the architectural structure of systems ensuring scalability, resilience, and extensibility.

• Conduct long-term technology capacity planning by analyzing current trends and forecasting future demands.

• Utilize the latest platform and system capabilities to enhance the efficiency and robustness of enterprise applications.

📦 Infrastructure Management & Daily Operations

• Lead day-to-day tower operations, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) of system issues.

• Perform and manage maintenance, patching, upgrades, configurations, and performance optimization activities.

• Implement comprehensive disaster recovery plans and data backup protocols to ensure business continuity.

• Continuously assess technical performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to enhance reliability and system uptime.

• Maintain detailed and up-to-date SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), data responsibility matrices, and infrastructure documentation.

📈 Process Optimization and Automation

• Leverage automation tools and scripts to streamline repetitive processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing operational efficiency.

• Propose and implement a Service Improvement Plan (SIP) leveraging data, automation, and process reengineering for better service outcomes.

• Improve system telemetry and logging to ensure high visibility and faster diagnostics.
