Job Overview

We are hiring a Principal Consultant – Business Analyst (Risk Identification) for our Change Delivery Center of Excellence (COE). This role offers a unique opportunity to drive risk management initiatives within a global consulting framework, enabling enterprise-wide change for some of the world’s largest financial institutions.


Key Responsibilities

1. Risk Program Delivery

  • Lead delivery of risk identification initiatives and manage the end-to-end execution of assigned projects.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Technology teams, Operations, and external vendors.

  • Facilitate release planning, conduct UVT (User Verification Testing), and manage successful go-live execution.

2. Product and Backlog Management

  • Translate business vision into clear product features and user stories.

  • Maintain product backlog, prioritize items, and evaluate progress through agile iterations.

  • Act as the bridge between stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring expectations are met.

3. Requirements Gathering and Documentation

  • Engage stakeholders to capture and clarify business requirements.

  • Convert high-level business needs into structured documentation and user stories.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Leads to prioritize deliverables and align with release cycles.

4. Stakeholder and Governance Management

  • Conduct regular engagement sessions with business users and leadership.

  • Facilitate risk reviews, mitigation strategies, and maintain RAID logs.

  • Provide project updates, manage governance forums, and escalate risks proactively.

5. Agile Project Execution

  • Drive delivery using agile methodologies, sprint planning, and tracking through Azure DevOps (ADO).

  • Support continuous improvement in execution efficiency.

  • Handle multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high quality and timely delivery.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.

  • Strong experience in business analysis, especially in risk and change management.

  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering.

  • Proficient in agile delivery methodologies and tools (especially ADO).

  • Ability to handle simultaneous priorities with strong organizational skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to interpret and translate business needs into technical specs.


Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience working in risk identification or management within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.

  • Ability to conduct UVT coordination, business impact analysis, and stakeholder presentations.

  • Experience working in enterprise change environments and large-scale transformation projects.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with a consultative mindset.

  • Familiarity with product delivery lifecycles and governance reporting.
