Position Overview

We are hiring a Principal Consultant – Business Analyst (HR DSP) to join our Change Delivery Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore. This full-time role focuses on driving business analysis for human resources systems, with specific emphasis on risk remediation, records management, and data sovereignty.

As the BA lead, you will act as the central bridge between business needs and technical implementation teams, ensuring agile and compliant delivery of HR transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

🔹 Product Vision & Delivery

  • Define and manage the product vision and backlog for HR-related projects.

  • Act as a liaison between product managers, business users, and technical teams.

  • Monitor the development cycle and provide regular updates on progress, issues, and risk mitigation.

🔹 Requirements Gathering & Documentation

  • Engage independently with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable user stories.

  • Use Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage and track stories, epics, and sprints.

  • Prioritize requirements and refine backlog in alignment with project milestones.

🔹 Risk Remediation & Compliance Focus

  • Provide domain expertise in risk mitigation, records compliance, and data sovereignty laws.

  • Ensure all data practices comply with internal and external policies (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, local HR regulations).

  • Identify risk points in systems or processes and proactively develop resolution strategies.

🔹 Agile Project Management

  • Participate in all agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

  • Facilitate User Verification Testing (UVT) and support go-live coordination.

  • Collaborate with vendor and cross-functional teams (HR, Tech, Legal, T&O).

🔹 Governance & Reporting

  • Lead governance forums and provide progress reporting to senior executives.

  • Track project health, resource utilization, dependencies, and financials.

  • Assist in budgeting and capacity planning for HR digital programs.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, HR Systems, or related fields.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in HR tech or enterprise digital transformation.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, risk mitigation strategies, and records management.

  • Experience using ADO (Azure DevOps) to manage agile artifacts.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects with strong organizational focus.


Preferred Skills

  • Postgraduate degree or certification in Business Analysis, Agile, or HR Compliance.

  • Knowledge of HR-specific regulations including data residency, e-discovery, or audit readiness.

  • Experience supporting enterprise HR system implementations such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or Oracle HCM.
