Position Overview: Administrator – L3

Role Objective The Administrator – L3 plays a critical role in managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting client software, hardware, and network infrastructure. The position is focused on delivering timely resolutions to service requests in adherence to client-defined SLAs while ensuring high levels of satisfaction and minimizing escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Issue Resolution & Ticket Management:
    • Respond promptly to service requests raised by client end-users via multiple channels (email, chat, phone, and ITSM tools).
    • Analyze issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely ticket closure within defined SLA timelines.
    • Prioritize high-severity issues and offer immediate resolutions to maintain uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance:
    • Act as a custodian for the client’s IT infrastructure including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and software platforms.
    • Conduct regular audits, system health checks, and ensure optimal performance and availability.
    • Implement preventive measures to mitigate recurring issues and infrastructure failures.
  • System Configuration & Installation:
    • Install and configure hardware and software as per client requirements.
    • Provide support for updates, patches, and system upgrades to maintain security and efficiency.
  • Access Control & Data Management:
    • Manage user access rights and permissions based on organizational policies.
    • Ensure timely data backups and maintain logs to facilitate data integrity and compliance.
  • Client Interaction & Collaboration:
    • Coordinate with onsite and remote support teams for resolving complex technical issues.
    • Deliver updates and technical insights to stakeholders regarding incident status and resolution paths.
  • Automation & BOT Log Review:
    • Monitor logs generated by AI-powered Chat BOTs to identify unresolved queries.
    • Ensure every request captured by automation tools is addressed efficiently.

Performance Metrics

To ensure continued excellence in this role, performance will be measured based on the following parameters:

  • SLA Compliance: 100% adherence to defined resolution timelines.
  • Client Satisfaction: Zero client escalations and positive feedback.
  • Efficiency: Timely ticket handling, minimal reopen rates, and proper documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in IT administration, support services, and incident management.
  • Proficient in Windows/Linux operating systems, networking protocols, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Proficient in identifying hardware and software problems and delivering effective, long-lasting solutions.
  • Strong communication and client interaction skills.
  • Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and SLA adherence.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field is highly desirable.
