Position Overview: Senior Executive – L1

Role Summary The Senior Executive – L1 will be responsible for managing various facets of the Procure to Pay (P2P) process, including invoice processing, payment methods, and statutory compliance. This role demands strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax structures, along with hands-on experience using SAP FI and advanced reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice auditing and vendor payment processing.
- Handle PO (Purchase Order) and non-PO invoices effectively, ensuring timely approvals and payments.
- Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GST, IGST, CGST, TDS, and VAT regulations.
- Utilize SAP FI module for financial transactions, invoice entry, and payment processing.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Generate and manage MIS reports, dashboard summaries, and payment analytics using Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understand various payment methods and terms (NEFT, RTGS, cheque, online transfers, etc.).
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve invoice and payment queries promptly.
- Maintain documentation as per audit and compliance standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent field is required.
- Possess 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in handling accounts payable or Procure to Pay (P2P) processes within a corporate finance environment.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, IGST, CGST, TDS, and VAT compliance.
- Proficiency in using SAP FI module for financial accounting tasks.
- Expertise in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical reporting.
- Solid understanding of payment cycles, payment methods, and vendor management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated capability to independently handle diverse responsibilities and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced work setting.
