Role Overview: Data Engineer – BI at IBM Pune
As a Data Engineer in Business Intelligence, your role involves transforming raw data into insightful reports and dashboards that guide strategic decisions. You’ll be embedded in a collaborative consulting team responsible for understanding business challenges, interpreting requirements, and developing impactful visualizations that align with enterprise goals.
This role is ideal for tech-savvy, analytical professionals who are passionate about data modeling, visualization, and storytelling through tools such as Tableau, SQL, and other advanced BI technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements to design and implement robust data visualizations using Tableau and related BI tools.

Develop and manage complex SQL queries and custom scripts to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various databases.
