Role Overview: Infrastructure Specialist – System Administration
As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will support the core infrastructure that enables global businesses to function. Whether it’s on-premise, cloud, or a hybrid approach, your role is to deliver secure and optimized system environments that meet dynamic business needs.
You’ll bring deep expertise in MQ administration, SSL configuration, platform architecture, backup and recovery, and system performance tuning. This role also calls for experience with cloud environments, CI/CD tools, containerization, and system diagnostics.
Primary Responsibilities

Design, review, and optimize the infrastructure architecture for enterprise clients.

Translate complex technical requirements into actionable solutions, aligning with client and platform needs.

Manage IBM MQ environments including configuration, deployment, load balancing, and security tuning.

Support queue manager configurations and provide system-level troubleshooting for message queues.

Administer systems across platforms including AIX, Red Hat Linux (RHEL), and Windows servers.

Handle Managed File Transfers (MFT) across secure infrastructure layers.

Maintain infrastructure compliance standards to mitigate data breaches and unauthorized access.

Lead the build, deployment, support, and performance optimization of system administration services.

Support high-availability systems and multi-tier environments with firewalls, load balancers, and backup tools.
Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline (Required)

Master’s degree in a relevant domain (Preferred)

Experience Level:
Technical Skills – Required

Expertise in IBM MQ administration: configuration, troubleshooting, tuning, and security (OAM).

SSL administration: certificate renewal, deployment, and compliance monitoring.

Strong shell scripting and Python programming capabilities.

Ability to diagnose system errors, evaluate architecture, and improve operational efficiency.

Proficiency in vulnerability remediation and infrastructure patching.

Understanding of backup solutions, system resilience, and disaster recovery protocols.
