Role Summary: Security Architect – L1
As a Security Architect – L1, your role will be to conceptualize, design, and implement secure computing environments that mitigate organizational and client-specific risks. You will lead the development of enterprise cybersecurity strategy, evaluate security vulnerabilities, respond to security incidents, and provide subject matter expertise on various security standards, including NIST, CIS, and SANS.
You’ll also support Wipro’s sales and delivery teams by responding to RFPs, ensuring architectural alignment across multiple technology stacks, and facilitating seamless integration with client environments. Your expertise will also contribute to training, audits, and cybersecurity awareness programs.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 1. Security Architecture Design & Development

Evaluate business strategies to define the appropriate security architecture frameworks that align with enterprise goals.

Conduct security assessments, identify threats and vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies across the application, infrastructure, and data layers.

Design and implement security controls for endpoint protection, API security, network zoning, identity & access management (IAM), and secure integration.

Perform gap analysis of existing security architecture and recommend improvements that meet compliance, performance, and business continuity goals.

Align enterprise security programs with leading frameworks such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, SANS Top 25, and CIS Benchmarks.
