Role Overview: Application Developer – SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development
Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather specifications, developing robust solutions, and ensuring the seamless integration of applications with business goals.
In addition to development, you will take part in testing, debugging, and continuously improving applications to optimize performance and enhance user experience. As a senior team member, you will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, fostering skill development and knowledge-sharing within your team.
Key Responsibilities

Solution Development: Build scalable, efficient, and maintainable applications that align with client goals and operational frameworks.

Collaboration and Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed business and technical requirements, translating them into effective application features.

Technical Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development, guiding the team towards best practices and innovative solutions.

Mentoring and Training: Support and mentor junior team members to elevate their technical expertise and align with the organization’s standards.

Testing and Debugging: Participate in application testing phases, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that deliverables meet quality expectations.

Stakeholder Management: Communicate technical solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Required Professional and Technical Skills
Must-Have Skills

SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development: Proficiency in designing and building applications using Object Oriented ABAP programming.

Object-Oriented Programming: Strong understanding of core OOP principles, design patterns, and best practices in application development.

Application Lifecycle Management: Hands-on experience managing the full application development lifecycle, including deployment and maintenance.

Database Management: Familiarity with database management systems and proficiency in writing SQL queries for data manipulation.
Good-to-Have Skills

SAP ABAP Development for HANA: Knowledge of building and optimizing applications on the SAP HANA platform.

Educational Qualification

Education Requirement: 15 years of full-time education from a recognized institution, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP Object Oriented Development is required.

Prior exposure to SAP HANA and SAP BOPF development environments is advantageous.
