AFCAT 2 2025 — Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility conditions:

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2026)

Branch Age Limit
Flying Branch 20 to 24 years
Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) 20 to 26 years

Note: Candidates below 25 years must be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course. Widows/Widowers below 25 are not eligible.

Educational Qualification

Flying Branch:

  • 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

  • Graduation with minimum 60% marks OR BE/B.Tech degree.

Ground Duty (Technical):

  • 50% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level.

  • BE/B.Tech degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics/Mechanical) with minimum 60% marks.

Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

  • Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.

  • Specific qualifications for Administration, Logistics, Accounts, Education, and Meteorology branches.
