🔍 Position Summary
As a Performance Testing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and responsiveness of enterprise applications and platforms. You will use modern testing tools, apply analytical problem-solving skills, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess system behavior under various conditions.
The role includes performance script development, test planning, execution, and monitoring, using industry-standard tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, SilkPerformer, and Dynatrace/AppDynamics for APM (Application Performance Monitoring).
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✅ Test Planning & Strategy Development

Create comprehensive performance test strategies tailored to business goals and application architecture.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define non-functional requirements (NFRs) for load, stress, and endurance testing.

Design realistic workloads and test data sets simulating user behavior and production-like environments.
✅ Performance Test Execution

Develop and maintain test scripts using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or VSTS.

Execute performance test cycles, monitor progress, and capture key system metrics including response time, throughput, and system resource utilization.
✅ Performance Monitoring & Analysis

Utilize APM tools like Dynatrace or AppDynamics for in-depth application monitoring and root cause analysis.

Monitor performance across application tiers including databases, services, and UI layers.

Interpret system logs, alerts, and charts to isolate bottlenecks, performance degradation, and architectural inefficiencies.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders across business units, project management teams, QA, and development teams.
