About the Role
The Techno Functional Consultant – L1 role is designed for professionals who excel at interfacing between technology and business. This role is critical to implementing new business systems, integrating ERP solutions, and providing seamless support throughout the project lifecycle—from requirement gathering to production deployment.
As a consultant, you will lead business implementation strategies, provide end-to-end solutioning support, and ensure all client deliverables align with both functional expectations and technical feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Bridge Technology and Business Through Expert Integration
Manage the end-to-end process for new business implementations, from capturing business requirements to final deployment.
Evaluate change requests for technical and functional feasibility and propose optimized solutions that align with business needs.
Design scalable architectures while integrating ERP solutions customized to client environments.
Build, configure, and deploy systems from scratch, offering comprehensive techno-functional support throughout the process.
Collaborate with architectural, development, and testing teams to ensure a smooth and agile implementation process.
Implement processes using ERP tools, ensuring minimal disruption to existing systems and maximum performance efficiency.
2. Develop and Customize ERP Systems
Translate business requirements into configurable ERP solutions with a solid understanding of system design and development.
Customize and extend existing software through coding, scripting, and automation tools.
Modify existing functionality, implement localized features, and integrate custom applications within ERP platforms.
Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code that complies with industry standards and internal best practices.
Provide technical and functional support for any issues encountered post-deployment and proactively offer fixes or enhancements.
3. Client Interaction and Solution Support
Act as a key advisor and communicator between business stakeholders and technical teams.
Troubleshoot technical issues or configuration gaps with speed and accuracy.
Ensure all support tickets and change requests are resolved within defined SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
Assist on-site managers and provide necessary support for change management during implementation.
Additional Responsibilities
📌 Automation and Process Optimization
Create, test, and deploy automation scripts to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.
Develop tools that increase efficiency, enhance user experience, and minimize the volume of support tickets.
Drive continuous improvements in business processes using data insights and technical interventions.
📌 Knowledge Development and Internal Growth
Complete mandatory Wipro certifications and internal assessments regularly to stay updated with emerging tools and practices.
Attend industry workshops, training sessions, and technical seminars to deepen your functional and technical expertise.
Contribute to the internal knowledge base by writing whitepapers, case studies, and thought leadership content.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience: 5–8 years in techno-functional roles with strong ERP exposure
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Citrix Server Virtualization – XenServer
ERP Systems: Hands-on experience in ERP architecture, development, and configuration
Coding Expertise: Proven ability in coding, scripting, testing, and debugging
Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills to evaluate issues and provide scalable solutions
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and internal teams
